Moodle

Moodle (moodle.brynmawr.edu) is the College's learning management system (LMS). You can find or create course materials and online course activities such as quizzes or forums for academic courses at Bryn Mawr College there.

Getting Started

• Go to moodle.brynmawr.edu, click Login and use your college credentials to log in.
  • Moodle accounts are automatically created for Bryn Mawr students, faculty, and staff when they join the college.
  • Moodle accounts are automatically created for Haverford and Swarthmore students when they register for Bryn Mawr courses.
• Getting and enrolling in courses:
  • Academic courses: LITS creates course "shells" (or empty Moodle pages) for courses enrolled through BIONIC before the start of each semester. Instructors and students are automatically added to these courses when they register in Bionic during pre-registration and registration.
  • Non-academic "courses": Faculty, staff and students can request a non-academic Moodle course site. A course manager typically manually enrolls participants; although bulk enrollment and self-enrollment may be appropriate in some cases. • Click Help with Moodle to submit a ticket directly to the Moodle support team. 
• Set up a consultation for more in-depth help with Moodle course design, identifying Moodle features meet your pedagogical or course-management needs, setting up activities, or using the gradebook.
